Ebay SOBs22 May 2005 13:56 GMT3
I have someone that is posing as me to  use Ebay.  I have contacted
Ebay and told them about it and their reply was that their records
showed that the account belonged to me.  They suggested that I use the
log in name that they sent me to change my password.

I know some of you are using it, I signed up and other than no binaries
reading is way faster than Giganews ever was.  BUT... I can't post.  Do
you have to post with your real email address or something?

OT-getting a sitting car started22 May 2005 12:53 GMT3
Got to help my sister clean out my dad's house. It's being sold. His 90
caddy has been sitting in the garage for 3 years. I need to get it
running to sell it. Besides an oil change and new battery, do I have to
drain the gas if there isn't much in there or can I put an additive in
OT- a true American Hero is gone22 May 2005 06:17 GMT1
I just learned that Col David Hackworth (USA Ret) passed away May 4.  For
those of you who never heard of him, he was the modern day equivalent of Sgt
York or Audie Murphy.  He fought in WWII, Korea and Viet Nam- had an
astounding number of medals- three times put in for the ...
Avanti blower22 May 2005 03:06 GMT4
I figured using the word "blower" in the title would get a lot of
attention...especially from Calvin!!  :)
The heater/AC blower motor on Trish's '88 convertible hasn't worked on
the  HIGH setting since she bought the car...and with the hot Texas
How to evaluate a good convertible top install?22 May 2005 02:22 GMT3
Having a new top put on my 64.  When it's time to pick up and
evaluate, what should I look for?  I know the obvious:
1. tight fit
2. smooth
Cleaning Convert top window22 May 2005 02:22 GMT5
From everything I've heard, there is no good way to clean the plastic
convertible top rear window. The shop which installed my new top said the
best thing to do was to get it wet, then carefully clean with mild detergent
and allow it to dry- not to wipe it. It seems inevitably ...

Diesel rated Oils ????22 May 2005 00:43 GMT7
I went into the FLAPS the other day and looked at the Shell Rotella
and looked at the Castrol 10-30W, then the Shell, then.....I changed
the oil in my 11K mile 289 with the Castrol.  Has someone got some data
on the 15-40W diesel attributes and older engines...?  Thanks
Opinions wanted about new product21 May 2005 19:12 GMT7
I thought you guys might be a good group to ask this question since you are
all interested in the care, performance and preservation of your Studes.
Lets say you were approached by a fellow Studebaker lover/driver/owner.  He
announced that  he had found a superior motor oil, and was ...
OT: when it rains...21 May 2005 16:43 GMT4
got to work today, and the one guy in engineering senior to me came into
my cube wih an apologetic look on his face... seems he'd just turned in
his two weeks' notice.  I told him where I was the last couple days and
couldn't help but laugh.
OT- Most clever eBay "phish" yet21 May 2005 16:14 GMT7
Today in my email I received an email from eBay, Inc. inviting me to become
a Power Seller.  Everything looked exactly like an eBay message.  Clicking
on the "join now" link took me to a page that looked exactly like an eBay
sign-in (user id and password).  What made me ...
