flange at the front edge.  I'm supposed to saw off 5 inches of the back of
the fender to install it.  Since I'll never be able to ...

What is the difference in Flight-O-Matic valve bodies?20 Jun 2005 15:53 GMT16
On page 142 of the 2005 Stude Int. catalog, there are several valve bodies
listed.  What is the difference between the one for '65 6-cyl/early '56
V-8 (1540943) and the ones SASCO were selling recently?  My understanding
is that these were both 1st gear start. TIA

Ted Harbit whipped a 72(?) Trans AM by virtue of cutting two very good lights on
the pro tree.  Ted drove the R2 Stude Tomato. He said his lights  were
"lucky".................He always seems to be lucky.

Nate was the only one to venture a guess (and a good once at that).  I'm
Did some honest-to-goodness Studebaker tasks today20 Jun 2005 03:54 GMT2
Both my cars ('64 Daytona Wagonaire and '53 Commander Starliner) had
developed noisy water pumps.  So, since the Wagonaire has factory air with a
big old heavy viscous fan and I could see it wobble, I decided to tackle it
first.  Didn't have too much trouble getting it off (stuck ...
