| Ebay treasure | 16 Jun 2005 05:11 GMT | 1 |
Just got a shifter that I won on ebay; it's a new in the box Fenton 200 circa 1972 with all the goodies still in wrappers. Same kind I used a hundred or so years ago as a floor shift conversion for my R2 powered hawk with OD tranny. This is a good quality (read WELL MADE) unit with ...

| No Reserve auction | 15 Jun 2005 18:18 GMT | 7 |
Listing a nice car with no reserve is a risky way to save the $5.00 ebay fee. If bidding is light even shill bidding won't help unless you have two or three. This guy is getting worried I'll bet. (scroll down the listing and read his added info) Watch for him to kill the ...

| Hawk tach intermittent | 15 Jun 2005 18:04 GMT | 3 |
The tach on my recently acquired '57GH works...most of the time. But occasionally, when I punch it and get the revs up, it drops to zero and I'll need to let the revs drop down to idle until it starts working again. Is this a fairly common problem and what needs attention?
