I have a 63 Avanti and was getting ready to paint the engine area. I always
assumed it would be the body color.
But found this one on EBAY and the engine bay area is painted black. And the
ad states its really an original car.

I've run across a early 259 with a rather large pan.  I'm not sure what to
make of it, but I'm certain it is factory, as I remember seeing one and
hearing the old man talk about them when I was a very young man hanging
around the dealership.  I wana say they were a 55 year ...
