Just heard my freind and fellow chapter member Shelly Zwicker from Nova Scotia is taking over from StudeGary as Northeast zone director.Way to go Shelly!Her and hubby Ken have been members for 30+ years and own a nice Starliner(53 or 54).

We are begining restoration on a 1958 Packard Hawk. http://www.westcoastsportscars.com/58packardhawk.html It is my understanding that these cars were pretty much a Studebaker Golden Hawk with a different nose and tail.

Sad day for part of Studebaker history. To add salt to the wound, the local TV news here in Michigan reported that "the 99 year old plant was once home to The Ford Motor Company where THEY made the Studebaker" Slight error in reporting there!
