| Avanti Electrical Problems Again | 18 Aug 2005 05:16 GMT | 7 |
I got the engine back in the Avanti, and the battery mounted in the trunk. I have gone over all the wiring and replaced the bad ones. But now the car won't start. The starter solenoid is new, and the starter worked prefectly before I tore down the engine. What gives?

So much rain yesterday that the long course was shut down all day. Salt 2 Salt ran but turned out - incomplete run w/no time. Course was very bumby and slick according to reports I received. Rumors are that the rest of the week may be called off. We'll have to wait and see.

Anyone taking bets it will be $4.00 a gallon by Christmas?? I curtailed a great deal of driving last weekend, because of the cost. We'll be paying as much as the Europeans do. They, the Europeans, should love that.
