To my surprise, when switching to later model front hubs/drums, I
discovered that the '55 cups and retainer washer were to big.  Are the
correct ones available at a local FLAPS or do I haft visit an evil vendor?

I've got one front wheel hub and brake assembly removed.  I disconnected the
brake hose from the back side of the wheel hub.  Now I want to remove the
brake line from the connection up on the frame.  I was able to disconnect
the metal brake line from the connection at the frame but ...

I'm working on a 57 Silver Hawk and would like to find a parts car in
Mich or Ohio. Would also like to correspond with anyone that has a
similar project. I'm retired and haven't tried to restore a car before.

Well, Rick Courtier came up and we started work on prepping the new engine
(289 full flow) and a/t to go in Lloyd Kendrick's Transtar half ton.
We removed some stuff so we could pressure wash it squeaky clean for paint.
Engine looks pretty good. Rolled it outside around 8:30 last ...

Henry warned me the gage in my Lark was a bit flaky, well I'm not so
sure it's the gage, I think something else is going on.
Tonight the gage showed just under a 1/4 tank and the car ran out of
