Help!  C/K rear window corners11 Aug 2005 23:06 GMT10
I need someone that has a body parts manual and/or some original Hawks to lend a
hand. Most reference pictures show cars from the traditional 3/4 front view
drivers side and I don't have BODY manuals past 1958.
I am trying to make a list for the correct reveal molding corners for C ...

Rear Fender Skirts on a 41?11 Aug 2005 22:02 GMT1
I have a pair of scuffed but straight and solid rear fender skirts for my 41
Champ.  But nowhere in my Stude literature (parts books and dealer
brochures) do I see that skirts were ever offered for that car.  The skirts
themselves are well built and have a stainless trim bit on ...
Hawk heater valve11 Aug 2005 21:34 GMT3
The other day I changed my siezed heater valve with what looked like a NOS
one from my parts stash. It wasn't exactly the same but I made it work.
Only problem is,it won't completely shut off the coolant from passing, you
sure don't want heat now.

Here are some basic pictures of my new baby.  This link should work.  I

New AFB carb, Woo-hoo!11 Aug 2005 15:41 GMT2
Today was swap-the-carb day on my GT Hawk.
I removed the old Rochester 4GC that somebody had installed. Heavy
sucker, it is.
I quickly determined that the 1/2" Moroso phenolic spacer would not
V 8 Crank Tap11 Aug 2005 13:09 GMT12
Did I loan mine to anyone out there?  I can't find it and told Rod
Miller I would loan it to him and he needs it asap.
There was someone that listed a place to get them.  Please repost as
I'm going to order another just to have a spare.
Staying in So. Bend11 Aug 2005 12:27 GMT6
I'm giving serious thought to being at the new Museum on the 29th of
October and was wondering if anyone knew of a motel within walking
distance to the museum, that's more of a mom & pop type place.  Also, does
SB have any kind of public transport from their airport to town?  Thanks ...
How many 56 President Classics survived?11 Aug 2005 04:55 GMT4
I'm trying to find out approximately how many 1956 President Classics have
survived for 50 years.  I've been looking at "for sale" sections on the net
and I don't see many.  I also looked at car club photos from several clubs
around the country and only found pics of a handful.  ...
Stainless wheel well surround trim for '58 PH?11 Aug 2005 03:27 GMT12
The '58 Packard Hawk I bought some time ago did not have the stainless
wheel well trim strips and at the time I thought that would be OK and I
would not need them, I'd go with the older K body look.  I've since
revised my thinking so I'm now searching for 4 of these in reasonable ...
