Long Ride- Great Stude adventure... 09 Aug 2005 17:33 GMT1
I have posted before about my need to go to South Bend to pick up parts
for the wrecked '64 Cruiser of a NCSDC member. I also have been talking
for several months with Indiana SDC member Lanny Bertram- about the
restoration/rebuild of his 1963 R2 Lark Custom 2-door sedan. ...
1963 Avanti Titled as 196409 Aug 2005 16:58 GMT3
I have always wondered why my 1963 Avanti serial number 63R-3571 was
titled as a 1964 model year.  The production order says the final
assembly date was 3-1-63 and it was "sold rush" ship to Miami Florida.

I'm leaving for Spokane Friday morning from West Bend, WI. Any body
going my way? My brother just got married again (fool) so he isn't
going this year.
So I have room for one to ride along. I also have a non-smoking room

Yee-Haa!
You never know what will be buried in a given article.
Amos Press' September 2005 Muscle Car Enthusiast magazine was in
subscriber hands this past week. In it is an article written by Paul
Rodger Ward Avanti09 Aug 2005 01:21 GMT1
I've been helping Don Ward, Roger's son sell his dad's Avanti. It's the
car that was given to his father by Studebaker for winning the 1962 Indy
500. One interesting historical note is that the car was equipped by
Studebaker with the "kidney bean" Halibrand wheels, not the later
while you're in there..09 Aug 2005 00:34 GMT16
Today's project was to put new rubber bushings in the front end of the
'55 along with some new shocks and a late style sway bar.  I SWORE this
time I wasn't going to do any over-the-top detailing on the front end,
since this is going to be a "driver" car.  Well I got the control ...

for inspiration.
Business Issues  <OT>08 Aug 2005 17:00 GMT1
Due to multiple issues I no longer own OldCarFart's Auto Parts, Inc., I
will still be retained in a non-pay billet as the Technical Advisor and
will answer all emails.  The new owner is Regina Ann Lowell (my
wife)and the company is to be registered as a female/minority owned
Engine water plugs rusted out, now what?08 Aug 2005 04:23 GMT13
I'm trying to get a 56 President Classic running again and I've run into a
problem.  I got the car up on jack stands and put a wrench to the crank bolt
and it turns.  It didn't take much pressure to make it turn.  So then I pull
the drain on the radiator and a few drops of water ...

Vapor Lock?08 Aug 2005 03:21 GMT10
My '57 Golden Hawk experienced what I feel is vapor lock on a recent
trip up to Reno from the Bay Area Thursday afternoon, a pretty hot day
in the Sacramento Valley and up at Reno.  This condition was exacerbated
by the coolant temp going off the scale, but the temp gauge is a ...
