The 25th Annual baseball game between the Edmonton Chapter and the Foothills
Chapter is upon us once again!  It starts tomorrow (August 27) around noon

Lacombe is on the #2 highway almost central between ...
Frost Plug Leak27 Aug 2005 03:53 GMT11
I have a frost plug that leaks on my newly installed engine.  Of course
it it's the one on the back of the engine.  Right now I have considered
two options:
1. Pull the engine, which I don't want to do, and fix the plug.

one on the inner fender close to the fuel pump. Was there a hose that
connected the 2 together?

How do the 6 cylinder C and K cars drive? I know that the 6 cylinder
Larks are peppy and easy to drive, but I wonder about the C's and K's.

53-54 CK Owners Roster27 Aug 2005 00:45 GMT1
Do any of you know of a current owners roster dedicated to the early
C-K's? It seems there was one 10 years or so ago, run by a guy in
Southern Cal. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.. If none exists
now, would there be any interest in starting one?
Studebaker postage stamps and related27 Aug 2005 00:19 GMT8
On Sunday 8/21 I ordered the 50s Sporty Cars stamps (including the '53
Starliner) and other merchandise on line from USPS.  Today I got them.  Not
bad.  I also got some of the keychains @$4.99 each (have the Starliner stamp
embedded in plastic in a nice brass keychain) and a set ...
Strage Hollander book order O.T.26 Aug 2005 23:27 GMT3
As you may know I sell Hollander Interchange manuals. In recent
years, all the interchanges come from the manufactures since very few
Ford parts will interchange outside that company anymore. Today, I
shipped a set of the latest interchange manuals to Ford engineering, the
Ouch GT listing26 Aug 2005 19:46 GMT1
I feel this guys pain, he listed his car twice by accident. I've done it
with small items and had to pay ebay a extra few dollars. In this case,
the poor guy will be out a extra $80 for all his extra options and I
don't know which listing to bid on. Try fighting ebay to get your ...
Out sourceing O.T.26 Aug 2005 17:34 GMT14
I saw good idea on the news tonight. Some companies are relocating US
workers out to rural area's and letting them work on high speed Internet
lines. They can take a guy that lost a 100K a year job to India in say
NYC, move them to the boonies and pay them half that for the same

63 GT Hawk Grille Shell26 Aug 2005 15:21 GMT1
Is the 62 GT Hawk grille shell exactly like the 63 grille shell?  I
know the 64 is different.  My 63 R2 grille shell has been slightly
distorted by the attachment nuts being over tightened. If the 62 will
work, it will give me a better chance to find one.

Bob Belling is done with the body work and paint on my '57 Packard wagon. I
am waiting on the cloth from SMS Fabrics in Oregon to weave the correct
fabric. I should have it around the end of September or October. The
bumpers won't be done for a month or so. Hopefully I can post some ...
Champ engine water leak26 Aug 2005 05:48 GMT2
I started my freshly rebuilt engine for the first time just before I went
to Spokane a week ago Sunday.  When I got home on Friday I had 2 quarts of
water in my oil pan.  My machinist magnefluxed the head yesterday.  It's
good. I've ordered a new head gasket.  My engine committee ...
