Borg Warner Part Number Question23 Aug 2005 18:42 GMT1
I've got a web-illiterate friend who's like to know what a Borg Warner
P/N 114-257 driveline u-joint fits? He  has a 53-2606 Packard and this
may be for the rear.
Thank you,

fiberglass '40s Ford vw beetle hood23 Aug 2005 18:20 GMT4
I know this topic has been addresses before - but I did not see any
response.  Does anyone know where I can find one of these hoods?  They
were mentioned in a Popular Mechnaics article several years ago and are a
key component in transforming an old beetle into a '40s Ford style ...

I'm out in the garage clearing a space for my '57 Packard wagon
that's coming home from Bob Belling's shop. The body and paint

After finally getting the timing cover off my Lark I found that sure
enough the fiber timing gear was lunched.  It came off with no problem,
but then I ran into another problem (big surprise!).

GT Hawk Judging in Spokane23 Aug 2005 06:20 GMT31
OK, Guys, everybody has been justifiably upset about GT Hawk Judging at
National Meets in recent years. However, the fact that there were no
First Place GTs at Spokane is not, repeat NOT, a continuation of what
has been going on the last several years.
57 horn button fix23 Aug 2005 05:07 GMT6
Some a**hole tried to steal my horn button in my 57 pickup by prying up on
it thus breaking the three pronged ring that holds it into place.  The 3 old
plastic/rubber/? things on the ring that secure the horn button break so
easily.  Are these available anywhere?  Thanks in advance ...

fan shroud23 Aug 2005 03:09 GMT8
When I bought my 64, 10 years ago, I did the radiator soon after I bought
it.  The shroud had a section cut out of the bottom.  I thought that it was
done because there was a clearance issue or someone didn't want to remove
the fan to remove the shroud.
