results of buffing out paint on the '54 sedan23 Aug 2005 01:49 GMT2
Below are links of what my 54 sedan looks like now after much buffing,

before <G> I had to take emery cloth and wet sand the hood and roof
and trunk lid to bring it back. I know it needs a full paint job, but
Spokane Field Trip23 Aug 2005 01:25 GMT4

50 miles south of Spokane.  I could tell you the exact location...but
then I'd have to kill you <g>.

something else instead of a Studebaker.
If you are going to drive a Studebaker I have a ball responding to
2-way radio idea - sorta OT22 Aug 2005 21:53 GMT20
In a possible multi-vehicle trek to Spokane from the western half of the

caravan so equipped to keep in touch.  CB would be too noisy, I'm sure,
and ebay has lots of 2,5, and even 15-mile radios fairly cheap.  ...
A question on the judging of GT Hawks22 Aug 2005 21:38 GMT7
In reading the posts on no first place GT Hawks, I am wondering if I am
naive, dense or just out of line with the assumption that there is a
different standard for the GT Hawk from the other models? Is there a
higher standard for the GT or is there a bias against this model? I am

met at Tim Hortons at 10 am and drove in and parked the Studes in the front
row.Other than mine were two Avantis and a nice GT Hawk, and a 53 Champion

Salt2Salt at Bonneville 200522 Aug 2005 15:04 GMT1
Well,
We got to Bonneville on Friday night with the car in tow.  Bob Waitz and I
were in the F150, Ed Bauer and three others were in the Suburban pulling the
race car in a 24 foot trailer.

Someone in this group said " I have never met a Studebaker owner that I did not like".22 Aug 2005 08:22 GMT9
Well folks they sure do exist.  I was on my way back from the antique
tractor event where my Gibson is sitting today on my Triumph and when I
pulled in to the burger place just up the hill from me they were having
a car event.
Help on options from 6222 Aug 2005 06:58 GMT7
I am working on insurance for the 62 GT Hawk that I purchased a few weeks
ago and I need to know if air conditioning was an option that year.

Hi-   I was just wondering if anyone in the NG had seen this book
before?    Is it worth bidding on?  Or if someone on the NG is bidding
and wins could I get a copy of the Hawk section?
