Went to a car show today, only the third one this year for me.  :-(
Lots of very nice cars, and some very unusual ones.
I posted the pictures more or less in the order of cars that tripped my
trigger, saving the last for the plastic yawner cars.  I guess they were

Gas prices11 Sep 2005 21:30 GMT18
Congress is holding hearings right now on gas prices.  Oil company execs
were not subpoened (sp?), but prices at the rack have come down 25 cents in
the past week.  Isn't that an odd coincidence????
I don't think thay should get their fingers slapped, I think thay should get
52 Champ Convertible.-- price estimate11 Sep 2005 20:27 GMT8
I have a opportunity to purchase almost 3 52 converts, to build a complete
one. All Champions, all basket cases, but maybe manageable into a single
good one..
After searching the internet for a 52 convert for sale, all I found was a

The latest on the Bumper Boyz...I'm convinced that the crew there must
have some mighty good drugs or booze, 'cause the latest one they sent
us (yes, they keep trying!) has no holes on the end for the wings and
one side of it looks like it kissed a tree.  The customer told Carlos

T Cab Wheels11 Sep 2005 06:47 GMT6
Had a set of 225 75R 15 Tires put on the 1964 Champ Truck today.  The
tire store said two of the wheels are warped from the inside out. The
explains why it was shaking in the front at 45 mph or greater. Does
anyone know what wheel I can use to replace the stock truck wheel?

Speedster for sale in Tulsa11 Sep 2005 03:11 GMT2
One of our club members has a un-restored Speedster for sale. The car has
been in storage for 5 years. Has 95 Kmiles on it.
160 MPH speedo,etc,.
Lite rust in the usual spots, but the body is in great shape.
I actually like this one.10 Sep 2005 19:54 GMT2
I very rarely like a running gear transfer in a Stude. But this one is
not to bad. The main thing is the color choice and RIDE HEIGHT!! The

Also like the fact that they at least used MOpar instead of bowtie

for the hurricane victims.  I'm sure more will follow.  This one was
real obvious, very poor spelling and grammar.  Makes me want to reach
through the computer and grab whoever is on the other end by the
