I may be able to get a Muncie aluminum-case M-22 for a good price, is
this worth trying to put in a Stude, or should I hold out for a 5-speed?
 Apparently came out of an old Camaro.

Well, got the 62 ragtop home from the shop, Bought a "parts car" 65, 4 door
(some one stuffed a Stude 259 in it) Pulled the engine / trans assy, cleaned
it up and painted it.

Took me a while to recognize the car.
This is one of a flock I found in Hennessy, OK a few years back.  Milton
wound up buying the flock.  He sold this one to a friend of mine, and I
earned one for finding the flock and hauling a couple to Dallas for Milton.

Has anyone ever tried to swap splines from one steering
wheel to another for a avanti,is it possible to do without
harming the wheel? as I see some welds involved!or am I asking
for the impossible?

I did not get a chance to work on the Stude a bit.
But I did get all my big parts corraled and protected for the coming winter.
Cleaned up a good deal of old Stude junk from the yard.
Got the old parts trailer put into the back yard.

Anybody ever watched this show on Discovery?  I've seen it once before but
the episode right now has me damn near laughing out loud... he's riding a
septic tank truck... and then they go to the pumping station and have to go
down in and clean out the "receiving" pit.  "Oh God... ...

Studebakers lost in the flood and they drifted O.T. They were kindly

I wonder how to get in touch w/ insurance co's in order to buy flooded
Studes from them after they settle?
Have you any idea what it would take to restore a submarine?  Nothing on
instrument panel would be salvageable, same with seating surfaces, engine
