Cleaning lenses05 Nov 2005 16:14 GMT9
Anyone have a favorite recipe they would like to share as far as cleaning up
old glass and plastic tail light lenses?
Somehow I ended up with around 500 of them and they need pimping before I
toss them on e-gouge. All Stude lenses will be saved!
Carburretors05 Nov 2005 14:48 GMT1
OK, this one is for you technical whiz kids.  I need to know about WCFB's as
installed on my '55 President with automatic transmission.  I'm looking for
a replacement and want to stick with the small WCFB (supposedly 385 cfm ).
I know this carb was used on many makes and models and ...
Frogs and Princes05 Nov 2005 04:25 GMT10
Buying and selling a bunch of Studebakers, I've come to the
conclusion that you have to expect that most frogs won't turn into
princes, but it all evens out. The 53 street rod was described as a nice
driver, but only had one wheel brakes and the turn signals and flashers

I know some of you do a bit of driving around the country and I would like
to get some advice. What is the best route to take if I were driving from
Buffalo, New York to Houston, Texas? Thanks

Changing Gears in Rear05 Nov 2005 03:36 GMT21
My Avanti has a 331 twin traction rear in it.  How hard would it be to
change it to a 373? Are parts available and is it something I could do
myself?

From Gary
"I read a few of the NewsGroup posts through Google.  I don't have a way
to post there.  Maybe you or John P. would like to include my response
about your truck's wheels.
Omaha Meet Reservations?04 Nov 2005 22:42 GMT1
I have tried to contact the hotel to make reservations for the Int'l Meet
being held in Omaha next September.  Each time the system says that all
reservationist are busy and to leave name and number and someone will call
back within the hour.  No calls have been returned.
More CE madness04 Nov 2005 22:16 GMT14
My buddy's CE arrived a little while ago and after shoving it into the
shop and a quick look over in limited light, it is RRRufff.  The bed
and rear fenders look real good, that's the best part about it.  A ton
of stuff is missing and after looking at the engine/tranny for a few
<OT> Life Sure Is Interesting <OT>04 Nov 2005 20:24 GMT8
Got back from my trip to New England, and hung around the house for a day or
two.
When it was discovered I was back, they couldn't wait to tell me the Fire
Chief resigned right after I did.
