Price for '37 Rear fenders?04 Nov 2005 15:24 GMT3
To any and all,
I am currently working out a deal to get a really nice bed for my '37
Coupe-Express.  As part of the deal I may have to trade a pretty nice
set of original steel rear fenders to pull everything together.  I

Anyone know a reliable, free newsgroup service? (teranews is dead)04 Nov 2005 12:11 GMT20
Well teranews finally went down for the last time in my neck of the
woods. A company rep. wrote me back saying the free service servers
were dead but I could upgrade a fee server if I would like. No thanks.
I'm using google groups for this post but really don't like thier

Phantom Frontend Suspension:First Impressions04 Nov 2005 04:16 GMT15
Well, I mocked up my Phantom front end kit this weekend and wanted to
report my first impressions. First off, Rene does a great job of
labeling and organizing the parts so that it is easy to understand what
does what and what goes where. The included instructions could benefit
Anyone in to the odd04 Nov 2005 03:16 GMT2
Anyone in to odd campers or need something to drive to meetings and
pull their Studebaker? Figured I would sell this to raise some
Studebaker cash or maybe trade for one :)

maybe OT: trying something different03 Nov 2005 23:31 GMT2
My daily driver (well, when it's not in the body shop) is a Porsche
944...  which has really crappy dash lighting.  Since it's in the body
shop right now being worked on, I have been ordering a few parts for it
so I can fix a few outstanding issues with it once it gets back so I
Carbs Unlimited03 Nov 2005 23:16 GMT2
If you want to talk to a really rude person, order from this place
through the internet, pay for it, have it cancelled because they are
out of stock and talk to him about getting a refund. That's after
sending inquiring emails that they won't answer.
Very interesting Studebaker day.03 Nov 2005 16:31 GMT2
Ted Banner came down from Kinston so that the two of us could drive
down to Lumberton to look at some parts another chapter member, Freddie
Hornbuckle, had. In the process of things Freddie took us to see two

Cool, almost out of this world! <OT>03 Nov 2005 00:52 GMT8
As Murphy and I were just starting on our walk this evening there was a
bright flash like lightning.  I really didn't think it was lightning and
so thought maybe it was a big firework.
In a matter of speaking that's what it was, I turned around and there
Savannah to Madison with a little Lark03 Nov 2005 00:31 GMT9
My friend Terry bought a '63 Lark, silver 4 door 6 cylinder manual 3
speed, that is in Savannah, Georgia.  We will be flying there on
Saturday and driving it back, hoping to arrive in Madison, WI on the
next Monday.  The car's previous owner is putting us up for the night

a 1963 Studebaker Standard, here is one. Note the funky glove box
arrangement, and lack of any trim on the exterior. Just slightly
fancier than a Scotsman...
