Want to see if my numbers are right. What would be the compression ratio on the following: 289- .060 overbore, flattop pistons with 54cc heads. 289 - .060 overbore, flattop pistons with 59 cc heads.

The heater control valve on the Avanti has a probe that senses air temperature through the ducts. My question is...Why? Does it open the valve further as the temperature goes down or close it as the temp goes up?
