| Car Design Today Sucks (OT but maybe not) | 22 Nov 2005 14:26 GMT | 3 |
Since Loewy is no more and there is basic stagnation in the Automotive business, perhaps Apple should start designing cars? It is apparent when I take my Hawk to a car show that the response to the design is overwhelming, I didn't know Studebaker made anything like this, wow

While at another chapter members place on Friday, he showed me a copy of the JULY 1951 Studebaker News. Very interesting- with a pic of a 51 two door sedan on the front that a dealer in Minnesota had installed a plexi glass driver's door and plexi glass hood on to show off the new ...

| Empty trailer from North Florida to California | 22 Nov 2005 04:03 GMT | 3 |
Well, it looks like my daughter and son-in-law got a house on base, so I wont be taking her Cabriolet out to her for Christmas. This means I wont be coming back east with an empty trailer unless someone needs something taken West in the first place. Leaving from North Central

Bought a radio delete plate for my '55 at Reedsville, took a chance for $5 and I guessed right, it does fit a coupe dash. It has an emblem on it that is some kind of stylized crown looking thing, was that used on all models or should it have a V8 emblem for a Commander? I may just

| How many 1964 Daytonas had the big "sunroof" ? | 21 Nov 2005 22:40 GMT | 9 |
I have been considering a specific 1964 Daytona 2D HT that is in pretty nice original condition with 259 + 3 speed OD. This car has the large rollable sunroof. My question is: how rare option was this on 1964 Daytonas ? ( the car is obviously an export ...

| Friday at Reedsville | 21 Nov 2005 22:25 GMT | 7 |
Male bonding 8 out of 10, parts and car hunting, maybe 3. This could be my last year for Reedsville, same vendors, same parts, not much new or exciting on the parts front. By the time I spent $200 on gas, food and lodging, the $200 I found in parts gets pretty expense. Everything

| Old Lurker Remembers | 21 Nov 2005 14:54 GMT | 3 |
As newlyweds, we went on our honeymoon in a borrowed 50 Studebaker Champion. Later we bought our first new car - a '53 Studebaker Champion. Had to pay extra for signal lights, radio, wheel covers, white sidewalls, and a Hill holder. I think the Hill holder costs $15 and was ...

| R4 Engine Linkage | 21 Nov 2005 13:02 GMT | 3 |
Does anyone know how Studebaker set the linkage on an R4 engine? I am wondering if it was sequential or progressive. I have mine set up sequentially and the performance is excellent. I had originally set it progressive but it was problematic. If Studebaker did set it up
