Found in a box of Stude stuff. Cast & chrome plated, about 2-1/4 inches
and has a cast mounting on the backside.  Says: "Worlds Commander

Went to start 'Sheba today before going for a little spin, and the battery
was dead.  I have the Green Knob on the battery, and had, I thought, shut
the battery off to the car, except for the fused link, to keep clocks, etc.

I have a 54 Coupe and a 63 GT Hawk.  Both cars have a spot in the
travel of the accelerator pedal where the linkage will not move without
additional pressure to break it loose.  The problem appears to me to be
the knuckle joint where the accelerator push rod meets the linkage that

Saw this on Craig's List today - a 1949 Stude 2 1/2 ton 4x4 with dual

on the rear AND THE FRONT!  Ad says this was an option.  I've never

while under the front of my '62 Hawk I noticed some strange things on
the transmission.   This Hawk was originally a manual 4 speed, but at
some time was changed to a start in second automatic.  first I noticed
that the transmission was not bolted to the transmission support.  The
