I need to buy a new battery for my Avanti...looks like the extreme heat from the summer here in Richmond, VA killed one of the cells. I've never noticed at the FLAPS or Sears the rectangular battery that fits in the Avanti.

Thanks for all the trunk hinge input! Now to the post subject. The full flow 289 in my parts Hawk has gotten a lot of water down its carb during its 10 years of outside storage. It has frozen and sadly cracked the block in a few cylinders.
