Once again if there is one bad one in a hundred, it winds up on my
friggin' doorstep.  Went to put a new manifold on a car today; nice
easy and quick job.  The last job before closing the doors for Xmas.
Hang the manifold, open the BRAND NEW FelPro box with the gaskets, and

700R4 transmission questions24 Dec 2005 03:57 GMT25
I am installing a 700R4 into my '62 Hawk GT.   I have found a deal for
a rebuilt/improved 700R4 with free shipping and torque converter.   The
transmission is approximately equal to the level one transmission sold
on Bow Tie transmissions website, same price too.

Studebaker collectible $$ ?23 Dec 2005 21:55 GMT5
My wife won an interesting Studebaker item at a Christmas Party recently.
It is a showroom "shadow box" with a '56 President Classic in it.  It is
about 16" long and 12" high and probably two inches deep.  It has a cut out
car suspended within the frame.  Condition is very good, ...
Excalibur with R2 Engine23 Dec 2005 16:12 GMT4
I found a site with a lot of Excalibur pictures.  One is a car with a
Lark/Hawk style R2 engine and an aluminum hood, (#1?).

Brand-X playing with me...23 Dec 2005 12:56 GMT16
So I got the Porsche back from the local shop on Monday... they sold me

mangled by some unspeakable bad person while it was sitting innocently
on the street by my house...) and the most expensive four wheel
Cutting Torch (OT)23 Dec 2005 09:27 GMT8
Has anyone on the NG had any exposure/experience to a gas/oxy cutting
torch.  I looked at www.petrogen.com that looks interesting however
they do not include the price of their products.  Thanks for your
review and comments.
