To quote Deep Purple. That also would likely be the color I would paint
this truck if I could buy it. I would love to see a Bugsport featuring
this "Studecono".

73 Avanti emissions pipes22 Dec 2005 23:35 GMT7
I'm having some trouble finding replacement air pipes for Dad's Avanti.
I assumed the engine was out of a 73 Caprice (400 sb 2v) and the pipes
would be the same. Found a Pollution Control Ind. catalog link at
Rockauto.com. It looks to me the left side may be #438 from a 66-75
Original Artwork of my Studes22 Dec 2005 17:32 GMT1
For my birthday of several months ago, my wife commissioned a picture of my
'63 R1 Avanti.  She had made contact with a NASCAR artist Garry Hill.
(http://www.garryhill.com/)  I currently own several of his prints.
Yesterday I got it.  She had taken 15 pictures of it and gave them ...

GT Update22 Dec 2005 17:11 GMT13
I just love some of the phone calls I get as a result of playing with
Studebakers.
Got a call last night from an elderly man from Arkansas.  He saw Terry's new
GT on the trailer at a fuel stop.  He talked to the transport driver, who
Stude Wagon towing strength22 Dec 2005 17:09 GMT27
I wonder if someone can give me some idea of what size (in terms of
weight) travel trailer I could pull behind my 61 Stude wagon.  It is a
259 with automatic.
Also, if there are modifications that would help with strength.  I have

Sitting at the computer just a few minutes ago (nine fifteen EST) and
one of the dogs came running into the room.  No outside noise, no horn,
nothing.  I thought he was just having a bad dream...walked outside and
there was a package sitting inside my gate.  AC parts for a GT I am

Calvin Sighting21 Dec 2005 22:48 GMT1
Calvin and Mrs Calvin made a brief stop along their journey to the northern
climes.  He was looking in rather good shape even after traveling with his
wife as navigator and the dog helping out as well.  Headed for Perry Brown
and Ray Fichthorn's in the afternoon.  Look out ...
Neat Studebaker Pictures21 Dec 2005 20:30 GMT2
I don't know if anyone has posted this before but I thought I would for

picture.
