eBay scam that's really tricky - ebay scam.jpg (0/1)08 Jan 2006 15:58 GMT3
I thought I could spot them all, but there is an e-mail message that
replicates "Respond Now" message where you click on the Respond button
and it takes you to a supposed eBay screen for your user ID and
Password.  The last one I got said "The item I bought from you has not

Ignition Switch Substitute???07 Jan 2006 18:10 GMT5
I'm under the impression that a late 1960's Chrysler (Dodge) vehicle
uses the same bayonet style ignition switch as did Studebaker from 1955
through 1966.  Is this correct?
If "yes," does anyone have a retail source and/or part number?
Air shocks07 Jan 2006 13:53 GMT8
I asked this question over on the milk and honey newsgroup, but got no
answer:
Does anyone have any experience with air shocks on the back of a Lark
type sedan? I've had several occasions where I've taken out the Cruiser

Speedster Paint07 Jan 2006 04:00 GMT6
I will be restoring my Speedster. Originally it was Pimlico Gray,
Coraltone and white.  Does anyone have access to the paint codes  or,
if  not, to non-faded representations of those original colors so that
I can have the body shop match them up.  Thanks
It started with one Studebaker. . .07 Jan 2006 01:51 GMT3
It is amazing how one Studebaker coming into a Body Shop that had never had
a Studebaker in it before all of a sudden become a Studebaker Auto Body
Shop.  Since my Transtar coming into Lloyd Kendrick's Auto Body a few years
back we had a few come in for a complete restore. And as ...

Record/near record for 6-cylinder Lark?07 Jan 2006 00:38 GMT8
This must be close to a record for a six-cylinder Lark, especially for one
not making reserve.

1957 Transtar Truck for sale in ND06 Jan 2006 23:11 GMT5
I spotted a restored 1957 Transtar at a used car lot in Grand Forks, ND
today. Thought I would put a note here if anyone is interested. I am not,
and I have no connection to this truck, but I like to see a Studebaker and
a Studebaker owner get together.
International Bus OT06 Jan 2006 21:57 GMT3
Ever now and again you come across something that would be interesting if

plug wires06 Jan 2006 15:50 GMT7
I am running a converted GM HEI distributor in the Stude V-8. Yes I
know it didn't come with that, but hey I didn't do it. Anyway does
anyone know a good interchange set of wires. What GM big block from the
late eighties had a rear distributor like a Studie? Any ideas?
