I keep the original dual point prestolite in my Avanti to maintain
authentic
appearence. I have however replaced the points/cond with a Pertronix

Here is a challenging repair of a Packard Hawk wheel well trim.
The second picture shows it almost done except that I don't have any idea of how
to passivate the stainless. <G>

Howdy again fellers,
My second question today (are we allowed more than one per day? *G*) is
about the proper engine color for Wilber the '57 Transtar.  Weather
permiting, Sat. I'm heading over to pick up a rebuilt 259 for him and

I'm still at a lost of where that car is now, but found more of the history
of Brook Stevens original "Excalibur" series cars here.  Good reading for
any Studebaker fan.
