would I need to do to a delco wiondow distributer to make the engine run

I'm thinking of using POR15 to rustproof the undercarriage a Brand X,
which has the original rubberized-like undercoating probaly installed
by the manufacturer or some aftermarket product like rusty jones.. Must
this undercoating be removed first prior to apllying POR15?

Had a powerful flashlight. Bought 4 5/16ths, long handled hex wrenches.

Long time since I posted anythin other than chat reminders here.  I've
a question to ask that's been bugging me for a while now.  Used to be,
opur cars and trucks had positive ground eletrical systems.  Then some
wehre around '55, Studebaker changed over to negative ground.  Why?
