Pilot bushing installation question06 Mar 2006 02:20 GMT7
With everything else I've been doing it seemed like a good idea to
replace the pilot bushing, especially since I'd already bought a new one.
Got the old one out OK, but the new one doesn't want to go in.  Is there
some trick to this, or is there a special tool?  The manual is ...

Yet another great Stude day06 Mar 2006 01:20 GMT3
Well, I made it to the junk yard at about 3:00 PM today. Took me about
an hour or so to get the dash from the 63 parts car. It wasn't that
hatd to get out, just that darn A/C unit was in the way. <g> The dash
isn't perfect, but it's only got 1 small crack in it, WAY better that
General Motors (OT?)06 Mar 2006 01:19 GMT1
Here is an excellent, comprehensive article on The General's Current
State. You cannot read this in five minutes, but if you'll take the
time necessary to read it in its entirety, you'll find it enormously
enlightening...and a little scary? [I know we've discussed The

York impressions05 Mar 2006 20:42 GMT1
Again, 9 or 10 on male bonding, maybe 3-4 for buying and selling. I
had a nice 64 Daytona hardtop for sale out front. It was a 61,000 mile
car, perfect interior, very little rust but weak paint. the car had been
sitting for a few years and N8 has to swap in another starter ...

Good Stude day05 Mar 2006 05:37 GMT2
Well, today I did a little work on the 63. I painted an old steering
wheel, just to see if it would turn out. It looks OK, but I painted it
the wrong color for the car, all I has was tan paint. I also replaced
the warped fan pulley and re-aligned the alternator, the bracket got
New Bugsport Stude (link)05 Mar 2006 05:08 GMT1
Well, I think I made a post about how Ted Bastien has a new '58 Stude UFO
making it's appearance in today's Bugsport.  But I'll be darned if I can
