i got a 259 and first gear start auto trans for sale that i just pulled of of my 1963 lark the motor has a resent valve job and runs good with no smoke. $400.00 or offer. Also have a 64 daytona hard top in rough shape for $200.00 ,was a 4 speed car has nos front fenders.

In rebuilding my Wagonaire 259 (earlier post), we are putting in a new clutch. I have a NOS clutch cover assembly that crosses to a HD clutch for a 259 7E/8E truck or standard clutch for a 289 truck. Would that work as a replacement for my clutch?

The engine in my '64 Wagonaire is down for rebuild. I have a 289 crank and 289 pistons. What at I forgetting in converting it from a 259 to a 289? Thanks, Paul Johnson
