Well, today I did a little work on the 63. I painted an old steering
wheel, just to see if it would turn out. It looks OK, but I painted it
the wrong color for the car, all I has was tan paint. I also replaced

I met with the designer Bob Marcks last Monday.
He worked for Studebaker in 1954-1956
and then in 65 &66 he did work for Studebaker of Canada.
He is a great guy with many interesting Studebaker stores.

I have a problem with the distributor shaft on my R2.  The car wouldn't
start and I could turn the distributor shaft by hand.  I pulled the
distributor out and confirmed that I need to have it repaired or
replace it.  Is distributor shaft failure a fairly common malfunction

I'm wondering if any of you could give me the name(s) of someone who
might be a dealer in late model Studebaker trucks?
I would like to find one either to restore or already in good shape,
but am specifically looking for a model I saw on the street that had an

31 degree's and sunny....
