Well, today I did a little work on the 63. I painted an old steering wheel, just to see if it would turn out. It looks OK, but I painted it the wrong color for the car, all I has was tan paint. I also replaced the warped fan pulley and re-aligned the alternator, the bracket got

I met with the designer Bob Marcks last Monday. He worked for Studebaker in 1954-1956 and then in 65 &66 he did work for Studebaker of Canada. He is a great guy with many interesting Studebaker stores.

I have a problem with the distributor shaft on my R2. The car wouldn't start and I could turn the distributor shaft by hand. I pulled the distributor out and confirmed that I need to have it repaired or replace it. Is distributor shaft failure a fairly common malfunction

This one started out in Georgia a couple years ago and now is in CA. by way of Vancouver.. I think it spent some time in PA, too! Check out the great hood latch... One has to think real hard about a Hawk that has done that much traveling in two years..
