| Here's Hoping the Phone Doesn't Ring | 27 Mar 2006 03:00 GMT | 10 |
Had a weak moment today. I'm sitting at the coffee shop, minding my own business this afternoon, and they tell me I have a phone call from someone wanting to talk to the owner of the red Studebaker truck parked outside the coffee shop.

I've read Ray's website on how to install the fenders on a CK, but I want to be sure I've got it all covered and see if anyone here had any constructive comments. We have the body on a donor frame and will paint it, remove it from the donor frame, clean up and paint the underside ...

There's a 71 Volvo P1800 on eBay that's too good to be true - auto (so the GF is happy), no rust and fuel injection (so I'm happy) - the BIN is below low NADA retail, the seller has zero feedback... would be nice to get a set of eyeballs on it before I bid, and I'm in London ...

| Gas tank repair | 27 Mar 2006 00:41 GMT | 3 |
My buddy's Speedster's gas tank has been giving us fits and I may have finally fixed it; the fix could possibly benefit some with a similar problem. Somewhere in the car's life, the "restorers" figured that the sending unit screws were WRONG, so they threaded them for machine

Normally anything like this stuff makes me wanna upchuck, but the video got me thinking - what if someone programmed a bunch of Studebaker logos and images to rotate through during a cruise? Check out the link -

| Good, bad, and ugly.. | 26 Mar 2006 09:19 GMT | 4 |
Well, my quiet little neighborhood has turned rather ugly in the last year; several older people have died and slumlords grabbed up the houses. As to be expected, their tenants have been and are scumbags. We put our house on the market and have already found a house with a

Hey, just found out yesterday that SMS Auto Fabrics has both Lark and Hawk fabric with the little birds in it! I drove up there yesterday in the 61 to talk to them (only an hour and half from my house), and as soon as they saw me pull in, they wanted to talk a

| Stude day | 26 Mar 2006 03:37 GMT | 2 |
Well, got the majority of the interior out of my car today. I also took the light and siren off, no more fire chief car. Didn't do too much else. We went and got a 63 Standard two door, mainly a rusty body shell. We gave it to a friend of ours years ago for them to build a
