Dolph Overton could never resist an old airplane. A onetime Korean War
fighter pilot, he has owned dozens upon dozens.
One was always his favorite: the 1929 Ford Tri-Motor that he couldn't
Chapter organization gathering20 Mar 2006 04:12 GMT4
Yesterday was our chapter "organization meeting".  We had a great
turnout and a fired up bunch.  It was a ton of work and the credit for

a.s off and was stressed to the max.  This came on the eve of us
Auto Transmission removal/install tips and/or help ??20 Mar 2006 02:20 GMT4
I have a rebuilt AT to be installed in my 64' convertible with dual
exhausts.  I'd like to do it in my garage, by myself, and want to know
if I must remove the left side exhaust pipes(per shop manual).  Also,
I'd probably rent a transmission jack or attachment for my floor jack.

Wheels & Tires-19 Mar 2006 19:14 GMT3
Got the Helm wheels painted, P225/75's mounted, balanced, and on the rear of
the Cruiser.
WOW! The speedo is almost perfect (if my timing is correct) with this combo.
As best I can hold it an 60MPH, it was 62 seconds between mile markers.

My son and I were out trying to fly our new kite today (not very

Hawk history.19 Mar 2006 14:09 GMT4
Does anyone know a gentleman named Ced Braden? I think he may be from Ohio.
He once owned my 1960 Hawk. I would like to get in contact with him and see
what he can tell me about the car. Also does anyone have any information on
a dealer in St. Joseph, Mo. ?
