58 Phawk Seat Information Needed16 Apr 2006 05:36 GMT12
I'm in the process of having the seats to my '58 Packard Hawk
reupholstered. What I need now is, the foam rubber pads, that are
underneath the seat cover itself.
Is there any outlet, or aftermarket company, that reproduces, or sells

his cars.

pulled an engine today15 Apr 2006 23:11 GMT1
finally yanked the engine and trans out of my '55...  only busted up
the e-brake cable, not too bad...  I gotta get this thing back in ASAP

really liking the car, but I am not liking the hot oil everywhere and
Trim Clips for 55 c body window trim15 Apr 2006 22:26 GMT2
I would like to purchase new or NOS trim clips that hold on the
stainless window and beltline trim for a 1955 C body coupe.  I have a
set of the stainless trim to put on my 54 champ coupe, but the clips I
have are really rusty.
Interior paint, attn: Frank Starr? or anyone that wants it15 Apr 2006 22:02 GMT3
got some paint mixed to match the existing interior trim in my '55
coupe, I had the paint color matched to the little center piece of the
rear window trim at the top of the window (I figured that would be the
least faded part in the car)  this is the tan/grey/pink color
1964 Hawk15 Apr 2006 20:23 GMT7
I'm new to this, so be patient. I have a 1964 Hawk GT, 289 2bbl...
Auto, PS and no air. I bought it on a whim several years ago without
much investigation of the condition of the car. It ran and drove great.
The 289 and the transmission were supposedly "fresh". It is all there

Life is good! (OT)15 Apr 2006 06:38 GMT14
Just got a call from a friend who's a magazine editor - seems they're
doing an issue on guy stuff, she asked me if I'd be willing to write a
500 word article for the June issue on F1 racing.
I told her I knew squat about F1 except that it looks incredibly boring
PCV valve...?15 Apr 2006 04:25 GMT10
anyone have a PCV valve for a V-8?  I have a '63 V-8 in my '55 and the
PCV valve has lost its "valve" function, either a good used replacement
or a part number for a modern equivalent would be fine...
thanks
