to anyone that knows more about automatic transmissions than I (most of you) - what would be an appropriate fluid to flush out old transmission parts with? I will be pulling the drivetrain in my '55 soon for some work and expect that I ought to at least flush out the torque ...

Yet another ebay Studebaker convertible, looks nice, except for the engine compartment. Kind of strange that they'd have rebuilt the motor and not redone the engine compartment while it was out. It was just listed and it's already near what I would have guessed for the final ...

Jeff Rice taught me how to do a convertible top replacement which made me cocky enought to try a GT Hawk headliner. I'm about half done, so far, so good.<g>

What is a dual quad manifold complete with carbs and linkage going for nowadays? This would be one of the older caddy cast iron manifolds that was modified to fit a Stude engine. George
