Weak spark at coil, none at plugs! HELP!29 Apr 2006 18:38 GMT14
I am having no luck getting my '63 Cruiser started. I have a weak spark at
the coil and none at the plugs. I replace the coil with no change. I have a
T-Bolt EI. All of the other wires seem fine. Maybe it's the control box? HELP!!!

Can anyone give me a guesstimate on rechrome cost for a small part like

sorta OT but not really: electric fuel pumps29 Apr 2006 08:47 GMT6
Part of the reason I have been resistant to adding an electric fuel
pump to my car is the fact that I didn't like most of the installs that
I've seen from an electrical standpoint.  But thinking towards running
an R1 in my car has made me wonder if maybe it wouldn't be a good idea
Not Sure About Tulsa Tomorrow29 Apr 2006 05:41 GMT1
I'm still planning on making the South Central Zone meet in Tulsa tomorrow,
but it has been raining buckets all day, and looks like that will continue
through the night.  I AM NOT complaining about the rain, God knows we NEED
it!!!  I messed up, though... left for the Tulsa area ...

New R2, first look29 Apr 2006 04:18 GMT13
I ask Sal to be sure and get me some detail pix, so that all he
took.<g>  I guess I'll see the rest of the car next week. It's  63V1062,
the 4th R2 hawk built, might be the oldest still around. 70,000 mile,
unrestored Survivor that needs some detailing. Still has what appears ...

Anybody have a pair of these in decent shape? Need entire units, not
just the glass. If the glass is iffy I'll have new made.

Got the gas tank out for e-rusting and sealing, pulled the wheels and

Another Buy-It-Now sleeper?28 Apr 2006 13:29 GMT5
Check this uninspired description of a '64 Cruiser.  The description
mentions 4-speed and Twin Traction (described as positive traction rear)
but fails to mention that it is disc brake R-1.

OK- how about a good news story not OT28 Apr 2006 12:09 GMT6
I am selling a 3.73 "pumpkin" for a Dana 44 to NGer Mike Moss (for his '65
Studebaker).  I went down to the barn to gather up the gear set and parts
for packing and weighing so I could give Mike a total price.   I had only
taken off my wedding ring once in 43 years (required ...

Wife bought an '07 Camry.
Wow.
It's a great car.
It's everything they said about Camry's, and the '07 is so much more!
