South Bend Karma09 May 2006 15:31 GMT2
Ted Harbits booth was a Karmic center last weekend. N8 got a free,
good used throw out bearing and I scored big on stuff I needed. I
thought I was going with Turner brakes on the cheap Avanti because I had
two disk wheel cylinders that were too bad to hone. I spotted 4 bronze ...

Turning Wheels with my 1954 Studebaker Commander is? I know they just
did the wedding issue.

Busy day!09 May 2006 03:53 GMT7
Long and busy day; sold the Champ truck (finally!) and will be getting
the repair work on it.  After that, got a 55 K's engine fired after
finally getting a couple valves to come loose.  Had been sitting for
about seven or so years and although the carb is gummed up and it ran
What do you use?09 May 2006 02:17 GMT2
I know I am about 2 months late but I'm finally building my R-2 engine
for my 63 GT.   Question?  What kind of sealer do you use for the shim
type head gasket?  If I recall when I built one about 100 years ago - I
used nothing at all the same as the intake manifold.

Do they make an after market steering wheel that is about 14 to 15 in in
diameter and would fit on my 56J?  I would like to be able to drive with the
baby wheel and display with the correct wheel.
Thanks

rear view mirror question09 May 2006 01:21 GMT10
I have two day/night mirrors... one is nice stainless but with bad
glass.  One is painted with OK glass.  I was thinking that I would just
swap the glass between the two and/or have a new mirror cut for the
stainless one (I did inquire at my local glass shop and they can do
Is this a bogus Speedster?09 May 2006 00:00 GMT18
Saw this "Speedster" on ebay but it looks all wrong.
Wrong upholstery - vinyl not leather
No fog lights or backup lights

Been doing a study on my trip to Omaha for the International Meet and trying
to come up with some solids number of the amount of Beer I need and most of
the beers I can get in Iowa or Nebraska.  But Yuengling is the problem beer
which I will need to tranport from at less Alabama. ...
expansion tank elimination and SC belt slippage08 May 2006 20:18 GMT2
Two questions, one post...1st, if I remove the expansion tank on my R2
Avanti, what am I losing?  It's leak free but it crushes the under hood
pad and then the paint gets roughed up and it looks like hell.
Clearance issues on the R3 exhaust manifolds and exhaust pipes dictate
