I have been shopping for a torsion trailer axle for months...
Pretty particular about what I want (and don't want).
Went in to my metal fab shop today (it's Thursday, for those in the know)...
I was talking about the axle I wanted to Scott, their best fab guy.

Avanti steering gear05 May 2006 00:03 GMT3
Hello Lee,
Have you had a chance to check the ratio on the gear boxes you  have? The 22.
1 ratio has 5.5 turns lock to lock. The 16.1 has 3.5. The 16.1 was evidently
used on most Avanti's with PS.
Radiator core04 May 2006 19:06 GMT11
The radiator in my Hawk gave up the ghost yesterday; it was marginal

been in business for forty years and the father recently retired; dear
Studebaker Price guides04 May 2006 18:41 GMT3
What is your favorie price guide?  I have been using the Old Car Price
guide but I read some posts where some people don't think they are
accurate.  I would like to find something that most people have
confidence in.  Just a good place to start.   Any suggestions?

You might be a redneck if you missed the turn to your house 'cause the
house on the corner of the "main road" changed it's sign from "firewood
for sale" to "worms for sale"...
I sailed right on past it....still not used to the new house...
