Should the pulley on my R2 Avanti spin freely, or should it take a litle
effort. Mine takes a little effort and there ia a rubbing like sound inside.
There is also about an eighth of an inch play back and forth in the pully.

can anyone tell me if any vendor sells:
1) the chrome upper dipstick tube
2) the bracket that holds the vent tube away from the exhaust manifold?
SASCO apparently is out of stock of both.
56 Hawk Tachometer Wiring Questions28 May 2006 16:47 GMT2
I have a 1956 Sky Hawk that someone removed the tachometer. Can anyone
tell me where the three leads connect to? This is one of those older
type tachs with three leads. Internally it's basically a small electric
motor which drives the unit. It is the factory original.

thought it probably should be gone over (seals, ...

16,000 mile history 27 May 2006 16:25 GMT25
There have been several comments asking about why this or that was
done to a low mileage Avanti. Let me be clear, if anyone that knows the
