You read it first in Turning Wheels!18 May 2006 19:49 GMT10
The June 2006 Hot Rod magazine has an excellent technical article on
why flat-top lifters and their attendant camshafts are failing at a
dramatically-increasing rate of late. It's worth a read if you have the
time.
Who now owns the Studebaker name + trademark?18 May 2006 17:22 GMT5
Hello!  I apologize if this subject has already been discussed.  We're working on an indie feature film and need to use the Studebaker name.  Funny thing is, it has nothing to do with the cars, it's the name of a cafe in a small town in Lake County (we're trying to avoid renaming ...

New neighbors (OT)17 May 2006 19:05 GMT6

Casual mention in a post to the NG of what I hoped to get for my NOS R-3
engine, currently in the Studebaker National Museum,  brought me a buyer.
Good news- the buyer had no problem with my price- is doing a big dollar
restoration, needed a drive train.

3)  Being nice to the harried gate clerk at 10:00am (after the 4:30am guy
messed up) pays even bigger dividends..

engine painting question16 May 2006 23:12 GMT4

Alberta Blue, which is driving JP nuts :)  2 reasons I'm doing this:
1) a black engine in a black car just kind of gets lost and 2) I'd
Rims for a '58Hhawk?16 May 2006 22:18 GMT6
I'm preparing to sell my '58 PH and want to retain the alloy rims that
are on it presently.  What 14" or 15" older rims are going to fit, both
BC and width?  I've seen mention of some Chrysler product as well as
Ford but don't recall the years nor models, certainly rear wheel ...
