| N8' s old Daytona is on my assembly line | 18 Jun 2006 15:39 GMT | 1 |
We pulled the engine today so I could replace the clutch and paint under the hood. Once that is done, I need to paint the inside of the trunk, the wheels and find some 1 1/2 inch white wall tires.

| Thanks N8 | 18 Jun 2006 06:23 GMT | 4 |
I always give N8 flack about his anal nature, but I'm now working on his old Daytona and I may have to rethink that. Taking apart a car with a bunch of stainless hardware covered in anti-seize is a joy.

I have noticed the last two times I have filled up in my '63 Lark R1, I've made sure I didn't overfill it at the station, drove it several miles, park it awhile, no leaks, then...I'll let the car sit outside in the driveway for several hours, come back, and there'll be a round

| Secret serial number | 18 Jun 2006 00:55 GMT | 53 |
I have a question about the mysterious secret serial number. As you recall a few weeks ago I asked about the restoration of a 'real' R2 GT Hawk using a donor car to save the storm damaged car. The general consensus was that it a restoration of a existing car. After posting the

| Any one want to buy a '62 GT? | 17 Jun 2006 21:13 GMT | 9 |
My old '63 re-surfaced after many years. It is the first Stude I ever "finished", and the nicest. Dispite the Rose Mist color, I loved that car. I would like to buy it back, but first must let go of my '62. Here is the skinny.

Killed my old 'ergonomic' keyboard yesterday morning with a perfectly placed cup of coffee. Klutz. Had to go back to a spare backup keyboard.

| R-3 in a Dodge truck | 17 Jun 2006 03:55 GMT | 8 |
Yes, I have a R-3 in my Dodge, but it's in the bed. http://www.frontiernet.net/~thejohnsons/R-3inDodge.JPG I picked up my museum engine today. I took lumber and tools to make a cradle for it, but decided that since it is on a reinforced engine stand, it
