| lark convertible and ripoff city | 16 Jun 2006 01:37 GMT | 2 |
Hello: Took my lark convertible to the shop thanks to the incident with Bubba transport and the sway bar. Also told them to check the exhaust for a rattle. Turned out one tail pipe was rusted out, and both pipes were set up so they rested on a crossmember and caused a rattle.

| Heading to South Bend to pick up the R-3 | 16 Jun 2006 01:36 GMT | 5 |
As some of you may remember, I sold my Museum R-3 engine. Consensus has been that it should be torn down and carefully checked due to sitting for 40+ years. My buyer has decided to have Jon Myer do that. Jon will also add a bellhousing and 4-speed tranny setup. So, at the ...

| '64 inside rear-view mirror and an OT | 15 Jun 2006 19:45 GMT | 1 |
I did a small favor for a NGer and he wanted to pay me for my time. I said that a day/night rearview mirror for the '64 CDR would be fine, figuring that they must be laying about all over. Beauty is no object. Can anyone supply one if the NGer has none?

My old laptop's backslash key's retainer clip failed the other day so today I called Dell to see if I could get a replacement clip to put that key back in place properly.... SURE, says the helpful (HA) sales person on the other end of the phone. Unfortunately, it was $59.95
