I didn't expect my snipe bid to hold up on a R1, now I have to figure
out what I'll do with it since Sal is buried under my cars this month.

 I set a low buy it now on the cheap Avanti so the bidding would not go
nuts and someone bid it over the reserve so the BIN went away. That's
bad enough, but I'm trying to convince one active bidder that he should
not attempt a 2000 mile drive to Texas in a project car. Read my

Got the 42 back from the shop after three .months.  Shop bypassed the
hill holder,and claimed  that caused the front brakes to lock. Maybe,
it was the metal line{not replaced} running into the hillholder. Total
labor $858- I suplied all the parts except brakefluid, and rear metal

If you had the choice between a 600 CFM AFB and a 650 CFM AVS for a R1
engine, which would you pick and why?  Price is not a factor and assume
both are new and/or in good working order.
