Fairborn Studebaker axles05 Jun 2006 05:11 GMT9
Well, I just finished the istallation of the flanged axles I bought last
year.  Probably fixed a non existant problem, as the old axles were well
greased and looked fine, but as I drive this 63 Hawk frequently on long

I have a 56 Sky Hawk with 289 V8 and the Borg Warner Flightomatic.
Trans needs a rebuild, however I have the option to buy a flightomatic
removed from a 63 Lark with 259 V8. Can anyone tell me if the 63 tranny
will drop into my 56 Hawk?

One step closer05 Jun 2006 00:29 GMT7
Our new chapter is one more step close to becoming a reality.  We held
a meeting today and sorted out details to send off to the powers that
be.  About twenty paid dues today and made future plans.  Will be
called the Big Bend Chapter and will encompass South Western Georgia,

What's driving this '62 Hawk over $24,000?04 Jun 2006 01:57 GMT12
This '62 Hawk is getting up there.   24K and almost three days left.
What's driving the price on this one?
It's a Chevy powered mild custom, and for some collectors that's a
minus.   That red paint is pretty.  And the '62-'63 Hawks do look
