Eastwood video OT29 Jun 2006 11:51 GMT9
Eastwood is featuring a site of product videos so I watched a couple of them
like the power coatings video. Now I never priced out having power coating
done from someone else but the video makes it look stupid proof. <G> All
they don't know very well, do they! <lol>
rodding a radiator versus boiling it out29 Jun 2006 02:56 GMT7
A local man in my small town was recommended to me by a serious
classic car collector to fix my Daytona radiator.  My experience has
been to take them to the radiator shop and have it boiled out.  He
said this man rods them.  He removes the top or bottom and pushes
getting at Avanti gas tank28 Jun 2006 19:58 GMT13
Hope you can provide some advice for a friend of mine who has contacted
me with an Avanti question (and I don't know much about it).
He has a mid-70s II.....smelling gas inside and I told him that the tank
is behind the back seat.  He has taken out the back seat and encountered

this what I would ask for at the parts store ?
Thanks,

Yes! XM radio in a Studebaker28 Jun 2006 16:06 GMT1
Last week I bought a Delphi Roadie portable XM radio kit.  We travel a lot
on the road and it is a PITA to keep scanning for radio stations as you go.
Invariably scan locks on to a station you just passed and it only lasts a
few miles (especially in the hills back this way).  ...

Weak spark, SOVLED!28 Jun 2006 02:30 GMT2
Finally fixed my Cruiser with the TBolt ignition. Turns out the pick-up was bad. If I had better eyesight, I might have seen the small crack in the coil of the pick-up. <G>

My 321 cid(?) 259 Wagonaire is home28 Jun 2006 00:11 GMT6
For those of you who don't read the Racing Studebakers forum-
Back in March or April I took my original '64 Daytona Wagonaire to a friend
in SE Virginia so he could rebuild the engine.  I was kind of reluctant
because he is suffering from Parkinson's.  However, he convinced me ...
