Treasure Chest Hawk26 Jun 2006 15:16 GMT5
Does anybody see any value in this car?  This guy has listed it 3 or 4 times
on EBay. It's just down the road from me. Motor is a disassembled Stock 289"
Power shift  assembly  NO transmission. Looks like its just parts to me.
Maybe the stainless is worth some thing. I could get a ...
Hawk GT kick panel question26 Jun 2006 15:09 GMT1
The kick panels on Hawk GTs, were they originally carpeted or just
painted like the fire wall panel?  I have seen them carpeted, but the
parts book listed them by color.
Bored minds want to know.

TWs for sale26 Jun 2006 13:55 GMT3
I think that the time has come to get rid of the TW collection. Most

sound?

Bracket for 35226 Jun 2006 02:48 GMT2
We just did a 689 mile trip in the Hawk, and discovered a number of things.
It does not like to climb mountains using 89 octaine fuel that has the
ethenol additive, but does very well on 93.
But the biggest lesson learned is that we must switch to an alternator, the
Rear wheel bearings '63 Lark26 Jun 2006 00:53 GMT4
I thought I would have the rear wheel bearings looked at, minimally
repacked anyway, since I don't recall ever having done that in my
eighteen years of ownership (15K miles of driving).  A Stude buddy has
a mechanic friend with experience in old cars (not Stude-specific) who
Rags to riches TV show 25 Jun 2006 22:31 GMT28
Another show that will tick you off on occasion. Tonight I'm watching
them rod a 6,800 mile Torino that still had the factory tires. It was a
little painful to watch them cut and weld on the unmolested car. At
least it wasn't a Studebaker. <g> I know buying a car in that shape ...

wiper motor indentification25 Jun 2006 22:17 GMT3
Is there a way to determine if a wiper motor is 6v or 12v on a CK car.
Working on a 54 model that was partially converted years ago, I'm gonna
assume its a 6v but need to make sure.
Thanks
