| Plans for the 51 | 10 Jul 2006 13:41 GMT | 2 |
The 51 Commander with the engine issue that I just hit the BIN on will be headed to Md in a week or so. If the 232 is a easy fix, it'll stay, if not, it'll be a 289 swap. maybe made to lonk like stock from the outside. I assume the DG 250 will handle a 2 barrel 289 ? Brian

| Sunday Follies | 10 Jul 2006 06:08 GMT | 2 |
Had a busy weekend. 3 showings on the house on Saturday, and one today. Had to skip our chapter meeting as it is just goofy around here... Got out this morning and did some work on that Ford pickup.

| coolant recovery tank | 09 Jul 2006 22:03 GMT | 8 |
Been thinking about putting a coolant recovery tank on my 289 61 Hawk. I have read to be sure and get a radiator cap that was coolant recovery combatable. What is the difference and what to ask for. Most flaps won't look anything up without a parts # or a make and model. When I ...

I'm finally getting around to installing an Edelbrock 1403 in my '63 Cruiser. It seems that all of the connections are backwards. The pcv and vacuum advance are on the front and the fuel is on the back. I'm thinking, dummy, of course you have the carb on backwards, but then the gas ...

Anyone spotted the 1934 Studebaker sedan converted into a dual cowl convertible in the Sept. "Street Rodder"? Powered by a Ford V10, the sedan was morphed into a phantom Bugatti styled luxo-rod with faux caning on the sides, dual Packard sidemounts, and full-power
