51 has me stumped28 Jul 2006 14:54 GMT32
The engine on my 51 V8 is not stuck, but it's running like crap. It
idles fine, but does not enough power to keep from stalling when placed
in drive. The funny thing is, it ran great once or twice, even drove it
a bit, then like crap again.  So far, I've:

51 update28 Jul 2006 03:35 GMT4
After playing with most everything to get the 51 V8 running great,
I'm still not happy. It runs, drives, but has both low compression and
oil pressure and misses at high RPM. I'm pulling the 232 for a rebuild
or a 289 swap made to look like the 232. The car is just too nice to ...

My kid has apparently inherited some of my good luck, but he'd bitch
if you hung him with a new rope. He's dating a fashion model he met at a
gig, she makes mad money, is drop dead gorgeous and he's bitching
because she travels a lot. I'll get a pix of her with a Studebaker when

I discovered I have the wrong sized tires on my car. When the speedometer
reads 60mph, the GPS says 52 mph. To get to 70 mph, I need to peg the
speedometer to 80 mph indicated at 3000 rpm. Car has 3:07 TT rear What size
radial do I need? Thanks
