I have come across (in my search for another) a '64 Daytona hardtop w/bucket seats, powershift, & now listen to this - 259 P.S. drum brakes with factory air, even has an underhood lite. Even the right color, red!

wanted: one finned brake drum, either a front with right hand threads, or a rear with left hand threads. Will trade drum with opposite threads or buy outright. (I have three drums with RH threads and a front with LH threads)

Does any one know for sure if Studebaker used any asbestos in the heat shielding for the firewall under the dash in the 59 Lark? Did they use it on the roof between the headliner and the roof sheet metal? Was the sound deadener/ heat shield under the hood for some of the models ...
