ebay disappointment22 Jul 2006 00:42 GMT13
Last night I listed my 56 Golden Hawk OD trans change over on ebay. It
includes a T85 OD trans, shifter levers, bellhousing, flywheel, clutch, etc.
First thing this morning I get a notice that I have a BIN sale, and I am
happy for about 30 seconds until I see that the buyer has zero ...

Crane electronic ignition question21 Jul 2006 15:54 GMT4
When I tore my Daytona convertible down for a valve job I found that the
distributor is electronic.  It is a Prestolite so I guess it's a Crane
ignition set.  Are they like some Pertronix where you have to turn on the
ignition for a few seconds before you hit the starter?  It ...

pad at all.  What do you use to glue it in place?  It seems like I remember
getting a tube of weatherstrip adhesive with the last one I bought, but I
didn't install it so I don't know how that works.
Zip Van21 Jul 2006 04:50 GMT10
I have a few questions about a Zip Van, that I believe is a '64. It
belongs to Studebaker George, who uses it to house car parts. The
Serail # is E6-FC-3482. So, what can you tell me about it?
Also, what kindof trans do they have? Thie is the one that was in the
Avanti prediction21 Jul 2006 00:15 GMT3
I see the Avantis are now showing up on ebay big time after the two
estate Avantis did so well. I predict the market will soften yet again
with too many cars listed at once. (six on ebay now)  Look for the dogs
to come out with 10K starting bids too. <g>
'new to this group'20 Jul 2006 19:50 GMT11
Hi everyone. I recently purchased a 1950 Studebaker p/u, half ton. I
was wondering if anyone knows of a disc brake conversion for this
particular truck. I would like to run the straight axle, but will clip
it with a Camaro front subframe if necessary. Also, I will be going to
