Mirror Wanted.15 Aug 2006 08:40 GMT3
Need a good  inside rearview mirror for a 62 Lark.  I know other years will
fit, but I don't know the range.  Would prefer a chrome one (don't everyone
laugh at the same time) but will take a painted one.  Does anyone have an
extra one for sale?

Howdy Fellers,
What a day Saturday was. Talked about a mix! Some really good bits mixed
with some really bad points. Here's the story. Sorry if I get a little long.

Vendor Experiences - Engine Rebuilding15 Aug 2006 03:28 GMT6
I am planning on having my '64 Avanti engine and transmission rebuilt
sometime this fall.  It burns and leaks oil and is generally "tired".  I

Just got back from a 25 hour flight from Richmond Va to Atlanta Ga and

Luckily I was sitting by the window and noticed it before we took off.

1963 R2 Hawk Carburetor14 Aug 2006 13:43 GMT4
My R2 has a 3589 (R1) carb on it.  It idled rich and sometimes flooded.
To get it to idle properly, I added a fuel pressure regulator. It idles
great now without any black puffs from the exhaust.  However, the
problem now is no power and the engine fails when I try to accelerate.

Totally OT- see if this video clip works for you14 Aug 2006 12:09 GMT11
I'm getting ready to list my son's '79 Corvette on ebay.  I made a little
video clip (standing start, drive-by) that I'd like to use, but I don't know
whether it will work.  I'd be very grateful if someone would try it and let
me know.

Well, as usual, my life is full of uncertainties.  The new guy reports to

the 15th, so that I can bring the new guy up to speed.  Omaha has been an
outside chance since I took the interim job.  Now, it ...
