I have a N.O.S. gas tank for a 1950-1952 Studebaker for sale for $200 plus
shipping from Seattle 98136.  Keep in mind that UPS charges extra for
oversize packages.  I don't charge extra for packaging.

just dropped the engine in my '55... gave up on Hurst, after receiving
another shift rod that wouldn't work, I tried to heat and bend one of
them... no go, it cracked when trying to straighten it out.  So I took
the stock shifter from my Daytona and after a little application of

This Avanti listed as serial #4312 should have round head lights.  I
used to own #4785 and it still had round head lights but it did have
pirate buckles on the door panael.

I was testing the horn circuit and found the problem. The wire that goes down
the centre of the steering column has over-heated and burn off. I have pulled
the wire out (big mistake) Where does this wire come out of the centre of the
steering column? I now have the entire thing ...

Should the hole in a late model V8 water pump face up down or does it
even matter?  I have seen them installed both ways.  Its not like you
can put oil in the hole with the pulley installed anyways.

It was EASY to get out but I CANNOT get that blasted spark plug back in
and I don't want to cross thread it.  I have used a u-joint and the
little hose trick but I CAN'T GET IT IN!!  Do I need to remove the
heater or the valve cover or both?  The dipstick tube, the heater and

Mine on a 63 Avanti needs replaced and I had a list of various manufacturers
part number that will work if you switch mounting brackets.  I wasn't able
to get one at the FLAPS.  The numbers don't show up on the computer or their
parts books.  Are these things available anymore or ...
