This weekend was the Goodguys 17th Annual Great Lakes Nationals in Waukesha, Wisconsin. I was pre-registered and number 44. I arrived at the show on Friday afternoon at about 1:45 PM.

I see in the results that on the landracing.com site. On their record run on Aug 12th, the car went through mile two at 134+, but mile three speed was 86. Any one know what happened? Joe Roberts

Can a gas tank be welded? The HFH's 50 year old tank has developed a leak on one of those ridges on the underside. It is dripping a bunch of drops per minute, so I am keeping the garage door open at night and an electric fan blowing the fumes out.

I'm looking for any suggestions on how to treat the rust inside the doors. I have them pretty well stripped of all trim, glass and regulators. I've been using POR-15 Metal Ready on the outside but I would like to do a good job on the inside.
