Battery acid paint/metal damage underneath battery21 Aug 2006 14:03 GMT9
Took my Lark to my good local Chevy dealer for a quickie oil change
Friday a.m. and they told me it needed a new battery.  I did think it

them to put one in since they had one in the right size.  When they
Gas tank21 Aug 2006 06:05 GMT17
Can a gas tank be welded? The HFH's 50 year old tank has developed a leak on
one of those ridges on the
underside. It is dripping a bunch of drops per minute, so I am keeping the
garage door open at night and an electric fan blowing the fumes out.

How to treat rust inside the doors?21 Aug 2006 02:57 GMT3
I'm looking for any suggestions on how to treat the rust inside the doors.
I have them pretty well stripped of all trim, glass and regulators.  I've
been using POR-15 Metal Ready on the outside but I would like to do a good
job on the inside.
